Not true. There was an active private investigation. Much like the Dems have dedicated millions of dollars and hired pools of lawyers to do private investigations into Trump. Hunter has been accused of money laundering and other illicit activities in a court filing. That filing was thrown out on a technicality for use as evidence in his current paternity trial - but the accusations and stated investigation remain.
Ukraine's anti-corruption unit has publicly said that there was NO ACTIVE INVESTIGATION into the Burisma during this period. How much clearer do you need it said before you stop making up lies?

Rudy Giuliani is, and he says he has proof. Time will tell. I think Rudy has proof, but since the people he got it from are Ukranian, and the Ukraine is so corrupt, he'll have a hard time getting others to believe the proof he's found, and brought back with him.
There are no reputable sources in the Ukraine, so none of the crooked American politicians (or their relatives) will be going to jail.
I also think that what Rudy found is so large & widespread, the federal government cannot allow it to be realeased. BOTH sides will squash it.
It's like the Clinton Uranium sale to Russia scandal...nobody was held accountable. They structure their deals so they can't get caught, or be convicted. They use 3rd party middlemen as cover.

You folks don't even read well. Biden et al are claimed to be investigated for a set of illegal things. The allegations do not claim he did them. And no actual evidence of these investigations is put forth. And if Biden et al have not been investigated at this point with all the noise it would be weird.
The view that this is simply publicity seeking by the investigator makes more sense.
Yesterday someone made a court filing alleging money laundering by Hunter Biden. This is not a new allegation and there has been talk about it going back for years. Trump knew about these allegations and wants to get to the bottom of corruption - which is his duty as President of the United States.
My guess is that the dems are more afraid about the DNC/Hillarys involvement in foriegn election interference with the 2016 election, than the Biden issue. That is also part of Trumps concern but that is swept aside by them in favor of the Biden meme because it plays better to their base.
I think we all can agree that something is amiss with the Bidens. If you can't agree with that then I have a bridge to sell you.
