The “evidence” was double and triple hearsay. Would you be ok if someone told someone who told someone else who told the police that you committed a crime and they arrested you on that basis???
3 or 4 of the witnesses testified under oath that they where listening in on the telephone call between Trump and Zelnskiy...
And they confirmed they heard the same thing that is on the transcript, which also Trump confirmed.

The democrats and MSM think they can together destroy Trump by impeaching him .. So... you did not see any testimony on a multitude of TV channels of the 14-17 witnesses in the case?
Since this is a POLTICAL, NOT CRIMMINAL case, the Republicans asked them questions under OATH. That might not legally be "cross examination"... but they could ask whatever they wanted... and the witnesses where under oath.
They said under oath, they where listening in on the call, since it was THEIR JOB.... they heard Trumps own voice and words... and said he said nearly exactly what was in the transcript, that Trump later released.
When someone tells you who they are, believe them. Trump has been telling us every single day who he is. His own party won't call him out when he is wrong because none of them have the stomach for the namecalling and neverending retaliation battle that would ensue.
Does anyone with a BRAIN actually believe Zelensky - whose country's life depends on our help - would do anything to antagonize Trump?
