It is interesting how you see liberal Democrats on here regularly talking about Trump's love life. If he was cheating and his current wife doesn't have a problem with it or forgave him, why should voters care.
It is ironic liberals are mad at Republicans for not caring about Trump's love life while at the same time they paint us as moral busybodies.
They will assert he's a womanizer but there's no evidence he's messing around with other women right now.
Absolutely. I don't like him and hate his gutter mouth. But I like the policies and results we're seeing. Under eight years of Obama, all we heard about the economy is "this is the new normal, get used to it." Funny how quickly that "new normal" went away with a change in policies.
May not like him, but as you said, the alternative is so much worse for the country.
You think he has a gutter mouth? I've never heard him cuss. Have you heard Democrats and liberals cuss? OH YEAH!!!
Conservatives say that they like smaller deficits. What has Trump done to help with this? Lower taxes and demand more spending on the military does what exactly to the budget? There are future deficits "baked into the cake" with demographics of age and social security and medicare....which aren't Trump's fault...but does he act to reduce these? No, Trump blows the deficits up larger during a supposed economic boom. What will happen to these deficits when we hit a recession?
Conservatives say that they like family values. Trump is on wife #3, has had affairs, has had severe allegations against him by women, has had affairs with porn stars, uses abusive language, insults half the country routinely, etc...
Conservatives say they want less welfare and less crony-capitalism. Have welfare rules been substantially changed? Have farmers not gotten bigger bailouts than ever.....are these bailouts a form of welfare or a form of crony-capitalism?
Conservatives cheered when Candidate Trump claimed that the FED policy under Obama created economic inequality and an economic bubble. Trump pointed out that the FED balance sheet went up trillions under Obama. Now Trump is demanding that the FED do the exact same things that he said created a bubble under Obama. He wants the FED to increase their balance sheet and push interest rates lower. Why would we need this economic stimulus if the economy was "the greatest ever?"
Conservatives cheered when Trump said that winning trade wars would be easy. How is that going?
Conservatives cheered when Trump said Mexico would pay for the wall. How is the wall going? Is Mexico paying for it?
Why do conservatives like Trump?
Conservatives like Rand Paul made it clear he disagrees 100% with the spending etc that is going on to prop up the economy, but he supports it anyway. No one seems to stand by the principles anymore. Rand Pauls father did, and the son tries, and failed. The truth is that people like to call themselves conservatives, but they are anything but that.
Because he drives liberals to complete distraction. The constant never ending streams of whining coming from liberals is awesome. Why I like him.
He doesn't drive conservatives to distraction? He is seemingly doing many anti-conservative things and many conservatives are attacking me for pointing it out.

The answer is blowing in the wind.
That is fair.....we tend to see the best in our own preferred politicians and see the worst in the other politicians. It has become the football league where you cheer for your own team and cheer against the other teams...the refs are always right when they throw the flag on the other team and wrong when they throw it on our team.
P.S. I have made a post about drones being bad policy.
Liberals despise me (affluent white straight male), want to confiscate my assets and redistribute them to deadbeats and illegals.
Why on earth would I ever vote for them again unless they ditch these beliefs. It is completely irrelevant to me what Trump does or says unless he too decides to wage war on people like me. I have no choice but to vote for him to protect my interests.
I don't "despise" you or anyone nor am I "waging a war" on people like you.
My bf is a "affluent white straight male." I love him deeply. I don't despise him.
We are all God's children.

Oh wait, you needed a slap on the back from the others in your tribe who squat in this place.
I have a question: Why do all the progs love AOC and the four horsewomen and Bernie only to try and convince everyone the Dem's are not moving to socialism? Hell, your crazy babe now calls America a fascist country!
She is the one you want to be President when she turns 35?
She should write her own version of "How to Succeed Without Really Trying - from Bartender to Congress to President in just 6 years - OMG, I wanna job"
You need more practice as a clairvoyant. I didn't already have an answer, which is why I asked.... Also, I am not a socialist....I believe in private property rights for people who own a factory or store or restaurant...
I do want a stronger social safety net to help the poor though.

Definition of socialism
1
: any of various economic and political theories advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods
2
a
: a system of society or group living in which there is no private property
b
: a system or condition of society in which the means of production are owned and controlled by the state
3
: a stage of society in Marxist theory transitional between capitalism and communism and distinguished by unequal distribution of goods and pay according to work done
I don't completely know what I want to do when I am a full adult, but I am considering owning my own bakery.... I can't be a socialist if I want to own a bakery. My bf's parents own a few businesses and real estate rentals. My bf owns real estate rentals... I am fine with them doing so. I just want some more fair play rules.

Well...Ted Cruz and Kasich are not Hillary, Bernie, or Elizabeth Warren. Trump won the 2016 primaries against Conservatives and is not getting primaried by a conservative in 2020.
