It's only "greed" when someone seeks to keep what (s)he's earned by his/her own efforts; the envy-fueled effort to redistribute someone else's lawful property? Why -- that's just "Social Justice" in action.

No ….. it's just the recognition that there are some fools out there who will pay $300 for the phony "status" of a brand name, when perhaps $50 will get you just as much quality and utility.

Everything is sold for as much as the market will bear. Obviously, there is a market, albeit limited, for $300 sneakers.
