I think he is the only president in my lifetime who has.

I voted for Trump in 2016.

Like every POTUS, some campaign promises kept. Others, not so much.

He campaigned on the promise to:

“ Repeal and replace Obamacare with something wonderful that would take care of everybody and the government would pay for it”

“ Mexico will pay for the wall”

“Release his tax returns”

“Cut all funding to sanctuary cities”

“ End birthright citizenship”

“Enact term limits”

“ Impose death penalty on cop killers”

“ Invest $500 billion in infrastructure”

“ Eliminate Common Core”

“ Balance the Federal Budget fairly quickly”

The only promise that mattered was to keep Hillary out of the White House. Promise Kept! Covfefe, and all that.

Trump promised to appoint conservative judges to the Supreme Court and other branches of the judiciary. He has done this. He promised to build a wall on the southern border. He has been trying hard to do this, and has met with some success, despite fierce resistance from the open-borders crowd. He promised to place restrictions on who can enter this country from certain other countries. He has done this.

Sure, I'm still waiting for some of his other promises, like improving our infrastructure and ending birthright citizenship. But he's making progress. I give him a lot of credit for doing what he can to keep at least a good number of his promises.

Same here.

I would venture to say that he hasn't kept more than he has.

Care to list the promises you feel he has kept, OP? Should be easy since he's the most successful at it in your lifetime, right?

He has:
  1. Pulled us out of the Paris Climate Fraud, oops, Accords;
  2. Recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel;
  3. Moved the U.S. Embassy in Israel to Jerusalem; and
  4. Undone numerous regulations.
Hard to think of commitments he hasn't kept.

Yes on many such as reducing onerous federal regulations, negating the previous administration's executive orders, appointing constitutional supremes, tax reform, improving the economy, renegotiating trade deals to benefit American workers, exiting the paris accord, etc.

no on some important ones like building the wall and stopping illegal immigration/migrants.

trump isn't done with his term of office. the jury is still out if he keeps all his promises. he may have more time to accomplish them if re-elected with a republican majority house and senate. He needs a republican majority congress to enact laws that support his agenda, including building the wall and eliminating illegal immigration.
