Under Obama/Biden all that technology was being delivered from China. Not from American workers.

Biden never saw a unfair trade deal that he didn't support, negotiate, or vote for. China loves Biden. He sold us out to them over and over and over for decades.

Why did OP's article purposely leave off that part of Biden's answer?

Maybe because it's nothing but pointless, hypothetical speculation?

What good does the prospect of new green jobs and possible retraining do for a 57 year old blue collar worker whose spent his entire life working his way up to $60K per year and is looking at retirement in less than ten years?

What green new job are you going to train him for in that time span with equal or better salary?

Only now we have vastly increased automation capabilities, which the "green sector" isn't going to ignore.

And with less gas powered cars on the road, tax revenues are going to suffer, and that income is going to have to be made up for somehow.

You think electric cars are going to be cheaper to run than gas forever?

Gas taxes are paying for the roads the electric cars are driving on right now.

What happens when they go away?

Leftists don't care. They would be completely happy with every single person losing their job if it meant they can move forward with their agenda.

Probably because there was nothing to leave out. You are referring to the next day clean up on aisle Leftist.

Biden can barely remember what State he is in. He is on record (and Video Tape) for supporting FREE health care for illegals, calling a salary of $200,000 a year the “Rich” that needs high taxes. - not to mention all the ObamaCare lies and his disastrous Foreign Policy + the Hunter fiasco.

You have to have a chance to win the election in the first place in order to kill that chance.

Many States are already taxing electric cars annually when they renew tags to offset the lost gas tax revenues.

For the Biden apologists, remember that if the talking point or the defense of it requires more than one or two sentences, it is a failed talking point.

He was asked - will you kill existing jobs for green energy?
He answered - "The answer is yes." Not just "yes", not "well let me explain further." Nope, he went with "The answer is yes" to make sure it was unequivocal.

Now you may have all manner of awesomely expository research that shows how on net, he will create this, transfer that, blah blah. What he was asked was if he will kill jobs. What he answered, most enthusiastically and sparing no detail was, "the answer is yes."

Now you (the RNC) run the simplified version of that exchange to open the campaign ad, and end with he current unemployment numbers being historically low and how well the energy sector is doing, etc. If Biden actually faces Trump, Trump swings with "you said 'the answer is yes' when asked if you'd kill jobs" and then drops some jokey, obnoxious WTF on Biden, and then sit back and watch the Gaffe-O-Tron 1000 stumble all over himself stammering out an answer.

Done. I'd wager dimes to donuts that campaign ad is already done ad was like an hour after Biden said that.

Biden answered with no hesitation, "The answer is YES."

Biden was supposed to be the moderate Democratic candidate who supports blue collar workers. Trump will destroy Biden if he becomes the nominee by making an ad about this. At the end of the day, if you are afraid of losing your job, not being able to pay rent or your mortgage, etc you aren't going to vote for that person.
He killed off his chances of winning Michigan, Penn, Iowa, Wisky, & Minnesota but he has locked up Cali for about 10 million vote margin (most of them illegals too which makes them far better people).
