It's amazing how the party of academia doesn't run the numbers and understand the math just doesn't add up.

She is already planning on 66 trillion between her Medicare for all, student debt forgiveness, universal child care, $2400 additional Social Security benefit and her brand-new 10 trillion clean energy plan.

She hasn't even added in the 6 months of maternity leave that many Democrats hope to be the ultimate bribe that gets elected.

America fiscally would go bankrupt for with-in a few years or there would be massive inflation from monetizing the debt.

52 trillion for Medicare for all.

2 trillion for student loan forgiveness, free college and free day care

10 trillion clean energy plan

https://www.cnbc.com/2019/12/20/eliz...reen-jobs.html

One and a half trillion at 150 billion a year for 10 years for her SS expansion

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/...ch/2294876001/

This doesn't even include the 6 months of maternity leave that millions and millions will be elgible for each and every year. 6 months of vacation billed to the taxpayers or paid for with debt.

2020 has not even started but the Democrats

Though it is widely believed, that is not accurate.
Pursuant to Title 12 USC sec. 411, the only way to authorize MORE "dollar bills" is to run a deficit.
(Dollar bills / aka / Federal Reserve Notes are "obligations" / debt, denominated in dollars, but are NOT dollars.)
The fact that the current ballooning national debt would have to soar higher is but a small detail.
What will be "fun" is when the debt bubble finally breaks, and the USA voids the debt for fraud. (23 trillion dollars were never lent to the US gubmint)
Since dollar bills are part of the national debt, they go POOF.
Overnight, billionaires become zero-aires.

I might vote for her just to hasten the collapse.

We'll have to see what actually happens. I've been waiting for the debt to catch up with us for a long time, but it hasn't yet. This could go on for another 100 years - nobody knows.

The only problem with that is it will take too long, and cause a lot of pain and suffering until we get there.

No. We are in a position now to stop the Communists, and their excuses to have Government take over EVERY aspect of our lives.

For such an educated person it would appear she didn't take any math in school! But I could be "Just wrong."

This was the subject of a lengthy conversation between No_Recess and me. If our goal is indeed the stateless society, could we justify a vote for the person we think is best suited to hasten the current state's destruction?

In the end we agreed that voting is an act of violence no matter how well intended, and also indirectly legitimizes the theater of the absurd, so no, we couldn't justify doing it, but we did hash it out for a bit with the exact same thinking about the same person.

Liawatha's plans, if any were to actually be made into law, put a ton of weight onto an already collapsing welfare state. That's a good thing, seeing the welfare state collapse (Lord willing, in my lifetime so I can soak up some epic schadenfreude) under its own weight. Problem is, now that people see her actual math, what little she has revealed...they are backing away from fulfilling our dream...scared to hasten their own demise. It's like they are sort of, kind of, maybe wising up just a smidgen, and as a result, her polls are dropping pretty fast. Same for Sen. GetOffMyLawn. It sounds funny until people with the vote currency see the price tag.

Sadly, I think their bold proposals will fall flat and just end up being same old, same old incremental utilitarianism. Essentially they'll dump a bit more weight onto the welfare state and then add a few makeshift support beams somewhere underneath, robbing Peter to pay Paul and all that. So on net it gets worse, but not so much worse that it fails in the spectacular fashion you and I are hoping for, and you will end up having voted for the status quo.

IMHO, YMMV.

Don't forget to add in the costs to feed, house, educate, provide medical care and everything else Warren and the Democrats want to spend on every illegal that wants to walk into this country.

That's going to happen no matter who wins the Dem nomination or who wins the actual election. That's just another day of spending for the Thugocracy that isn't elected and actually runs everything. Illegals already get a lot of that, and every year, baseline budgeting just gives them more.
