Nice try, but apples and oranges.

It's not at all, but nice try. Government doesn't get a free pass.

No. Just to point your interpretation of the Christian value is just slavery in disguise.

Just because some people voted for it, it doesn’t make it moral, just or fair.

People have been voting for slavery ever since there’s a thing called democracy. Does it make slavery moral, just or fair?

I can see that this is a situation where English may not be your first language.

When someone says "If I'm opposed to having my property taken", that is an opinion. Opposing something means that you have a disagreement or disapproval of something. It is an expression of an opinion.

When someone's wallet gets stolen and exclaims "He just mugged me!", that is a fact, and not an opinion because the individual's wallet was actually stolen from him.

Here's some more information as you continue to learn English: https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/opinion

Morality varies from person to person. It's why we have a system in place that allows everyone to vote for their representation based on real issues.

I'm sure there are people that would vote for slavery somewhere out there. Fortunately, most people would vote against it.

The simplest definition for slavery is “you work, I eat.”

Plenty of people have voted for that. It is still immoral.

You missed a large part of the definition of slavery. It involves loss of freedom. No one's freedom is being removed via taxation.

It is our job to vote out all who support either raising taxes, or fighting against lower tax rate proposals.

Be diligent about it. Do not exempt any politician who is not aligned with this cause.

When your property is taken by force, you are not losing any freedom?
