Slavery was the law.

Just because it’s a law, it does not make the law just, fair or moral.

Emergency medical care is a different situation than someone who needs routine maintenance.

Meh. It's different when it's hypothetical. If you or your spouse or child comes down with an illness that requires medication that you can't pay for, then come back here and let us know how you're taking advantage of euthanasia.
