With "private" insurance or Universal Healthcare, we are all paying for everyone else. Period. UHC is simply more humane, more civilized, and more cost efficient. And it provides far better outcomes.
It is more civilized...if we forget the armed robbery to fund it and the death panels it implores.

Sure, that's civilized.

That PGPF chart is interesting in that it includes how the corporate income tax affects each income group. Most people don't realize that corporate income tax is included as overhead in the pricing formula for goods/services and is therefore embedded in the price of everything we buy. Corporations don't actually pay it. It's passed on to the end users/consumers. It's a hidden tax on whoever buys a corporation's goods or services.
Surprisingly they understand that perfectly when Trump imposes tariff which is exactly the same scenario as corporate tax.

It has to be a deliberate delusion.

Do you think employees and unions would accept a health care plan with a cost built into it to give away money to the people who choose not to work? I just don't get the desperate analogies liberals make to deflect from the issue; which in this case is should Americans be taxed to provide benefits for the unemployed who choose not to work.
Yes, yes we should. We aren't supposed to be in the "letting people suffer and/or starve to death" business

I quite agree with you. Why not just have those who believe in forking money over to those who don't support themselves and their dependents donate whatever they want to that cause?
