This is a good question that needs to be looked into...

Not accusing, but just asking...

Is Iran Quietly Infiltrating Congress Through Democrats Like Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib?

“Is Iran’s regime quietly infiltrating Congress?” M. Hanif Jazayeri, news editor at Free Iran, asked on Twitter. He pointed out that many of these congresswomen hired current or former staffers with the National Iranian-American Council (NIAC), an organization with many links to Iran's regime and which Iran state-media has described as "Iran's lobby" in the U.S.

Jazayeri added that NIAC "has a mole in Congress. [Samira Damavandi] is now a permanent Legislative Assistant in the Office of [Barbara Lee]. That could potentially give her (& the regime) access to US citizens' data."

...
"It turns out the Senior Legislative Assistant to [Ilhan Omar] is [none] other than [Mahyar Sorour] who in July was a candidate for NIAC Action's leadership board," Jazayeri added. He then alleged that NIAC "is an arm of Iran's Intelligence Ministry." This connection makes sense, given Ilhan Omar's many anti-Israel statements and Iran's condemnations of Israel.

...
Jazayeri also pointed to Yasmine Taeb, whom he described as "an agent of NIAC," working for the Democratic National Committee (DNC). "Does the DNC know she gets her talking points from Iran's mullahs?" He also noted that NIAC got Taeb a congressional staffer position with Rep. Karen Bass (D-Calif.) and later "campaigned for her to join the DNC board." For her part, Taeb "got DNC to adopt a resolution calling for end to sanctions on the regime."

Is Iran infiltrating the government? They'll have to get in line behind the Russians.

Actually, you are accusing. You’re just trying to play coy and acting as if you’re reluctant to be accusatory.

A news editor at Free Iran? LMAO...unbelievable.

Didn’t the Iraq War and the way we were tricked into it by exile groups (luckily for them, we had dummies in the Presidential administration) teach you folks anything? If there’s anything you need to know about a nation in question, the last group you should consult are exile groups. They’re self interested liars who will say and do anything to find a casus belli for conflict. Iranian exile groups are no different.

They don’t like Omar or Tlaib because those two congresswomen (and many others) know that this anti-Iranian foolishness is nothing but a grand scheme cooked up by Israel and our idiot warmongers to get us into another war. They don’t care that we’ll be humiliated in an Iranian war and thousands of our troops will die. They just want power again in Persia.

Wake up. SMH

Yep. It's always the people who want to deny the plain evidence of Russian meddling in our elections and politics who want to believe stuff like this.

Agreed. So how about you quit voting for war mongers like Obama if you feel so strongly about this? Party over policy right? How's that working?

It isn't Iran that's paying off the politicians like Obama, Hillary, and Trump. It's the Saudis. You remember the 9/11 hijackers, right?

No ones denying that they tried. It's about if they had any influence, which they did not and no one has any proof otherwise. Not that you care about the truth.

I think the entire premise is silly.

Besides, Talib has pretty much only made a fool of herself and her own party is looking for someone to challenge her for her seat.

LOL .. There is in fact MOUNTAINS of evidence showing how Russia carried out a wide-ranging campaign to persuade and divide votes during the 2016’ election and underline conference in the entire process. That you’re here 3 years later saying it did not happen is proof enough.0
