Pricing comparison

At $14,000, this listing is priced $11,053 more than the current market rate for a 2 bedroom home in

.

That's because it's a high end listing with a view, 2000 sq ft and a pool. The cheaper rentals are smaller and without the fantastic view. That info just shows that the listing is on the high end of the rental market in the area.

Same applies if someone rents a waterfront home or apartment or a penthouse with a spectacular view. The rent is higher because the property is more expensive and is more costly than a regular rental.

I don't know... somehow this thread has become an opportunity to signal virtuous confusion...

It's on the Internet. I heard that made it true. Clearly it must have been sold for 14,000 because Zillow said so rather than rented for 14,000 as listed on numberous rental listing sites. According to Realtor.com it's worth 300,000. On the Internet, must be right.

I'm an investor myself. About a year ago, I came across a property that's worth x amount. I also found out thru various sources that the owner was a drug addict. So, I offered her a small fraction of what she could have gotten for that house on the open market. I offered cash and we could close in a few days. In other words, I dangled cash in front of drug addict and she bit.

I would imagine other investors have come up with even more creative ways to get great deals. Let's be honest, are conservatives really going to come after me for justice for that drug addict? I'm pretty sure she already blew through the thousands I gave her for the house.

I have a buddy that's also an investor. One of his projects he paid $200k for a house, put about $60k in for renovations, and sold it for $400k. The people he bought it from needed to sell the house asap and nothing beats a cash offer.

If Hunter Biden indeed got that house for $14k even though it's worth a Mil, he deserves a medal. I'm in the real estates investment business and I know how important it is to find deals. Heck, I'll even kiss his butt to find out how he did it. No trick is too dirty in this trade haha.
