And that attitude is why you'll never have single payer, socialized medicine.

You think taxpayers should foot the bill for thousands of doctors making $250k or more per year?

Turning up your nose at free medical education in exchange for working for $75k for ten years afterwards?

Hell I'd take a deal like that in a heartbeat if I were young again.

Heck where's the time machine so I can sign up?

I accept the following as the truth also. Trump for whatever reason was and is obsessed with Obama. He wanted to erase the Affordable Care Act with no plan as a replacement.

Trump wanted to do away with the ACA because that's part of why he was elected.

But he ran into the realities of Washington and did the next best thing.....he gutted the individual mandate to accelerate Obamacare's inevitable failure so we can either move on and start over or go back to what we had pre ACA.

And it did a horrible job of even that.
Not compared to tRumpcare.

What type of "reform" screws millions of people for the benefit of a few ?
Tax cuts and trickle-down.

That was easy.

Lol......

Your "financing reform" made millions of people's real world ability to ACCESS health CARE so expensive that they can't afford to actually go to the doctor when they should.

Quite the accomplishment.....you must be so proud.

Proud of what?

Like I was involved in the ACA somehow?

You're squirming again.

So, tell us all about tRumpcare and why it wasn't implemented "on day1!" like some fool kept promising.

You know, better, cheaper, covers pre-existing, the whole package.

They did initiate. ObamaCare was an initiative. Instead of Republicans coming up with a compromise, Republicans decided to dismantle it. Only they had nothing, nothing, nothing of their own plan. Trump promised he had a plan, (cheaper, better, cheaper, better, cheaper, better), but as usual per his promises, he had nothing (who knew healthcare was so complicated?). And the problems with healthcare in this country just keep getting worse. While our elected representatives do nothing.

You and Democrats seem to support it, so you own it.

You mean Democrats like Governor Romney when he implemented it in Massachusetts?

The ACA may have been roughly modled after Romneycare......

But it wasn't Romneycare.

And just because something like that was crafted on a state level doesn't mean that it's right for every state.....and certainly not the entire country.

The point being it was a REPUBLICAN IDEA! They just hated Obama with such a passion, they had to hate their own healthcare plan when he adopted it. Get real, Obama in effect was a moderate REPUBLICAN. Cant help it if the official GOP retreated to far rightwing authoritarian corner with likes of Genghis Khan and Benito Mussolini. That doesnt make Democrats suddenly left wing. I dont think Republicans have a clue what an ACTUAL SOCIALIST is. They just call anything outside of their current little extreme righty tighty corner socialist. Heck to them Lincoln and Teddy Roosevelt would be SOCIALISTS.
