The Green New deal proposal is in response to climate change. Part of these proposals is the elimination of oil, gas and coal industries. They want to eventually shut down gas powered transportation. But what about the means of how people heat their homes and cook their foods? The preferred method by professional cooks is a gas stove over electric. Would this mean that people will have to change how they cook their foods at home and restaurants and how culinary schools teach their students on ways to cook?

They also propose the elimination of cattle farms and some want to eliminate animal farms altogether. So, this means a possible ban on all meat and dairy products. How many cooking traditions and cultures will be affected by such a ban? Blame white man all you want, but most of those Ethnic food trucks that cater to the Haitian, Jamaican, Chinese, Vietnamese, Mexican, Cuban, etc cuisines have a heavy emphasis on meat and dairy.

Like, could you imagine a world without Flan, Japanese steakhouses or Curry chicken?

If you're rich like Obama, you can buy a second mansion and have whatever you like.

Only peon middle class people will really be hurt by this.

It is all nonsense. Climate change is a real thing, it is a natural process that happens. We could turn technology back to 1850 and start riding bikes to work and al lit would take would be one volcano erupting to erase years of sacrifice.

Have you ever noticed that the people that scream the loudest about global warming also have the biggest carbon footprint?

The Green New Deal is a political talking point used by the Left to drive more unenrolled people to vote for Trump in 2020.

You're worried about chefs?

If they get their Green New Fantasy, we'll all be eating bugs in mud huts, while bowing to the East in prayer several times a day.

Seriously. If that were to become "a thing," it would END the United States. Its goals and our Constitution are wholly incompatible. Can't have both.

It's not even worth discussing, honestly. Only about one of the four pages, IIRC, actually concerns the environment. The rest is Marxist, tribal nonsense. Read it completely if you haven't. It's a joke. For real - a joke.

Very true. England used to be ideal for wine production because it had the perfect climate for growing grapes. The Sahara desert used to be a prime trading route, as it was lush and green, not the desert we know it to be today. We've also had mini ice ages fairly recently, about 300 years ago. And we may have another one very soon, as we are in the grand solar minimum, when the sun is least active (as noted by minimal sunspots).

They don't teach young people this in the socialist education system, because it disrupts the climate change narrative, as controlled by lefties.

thanks God Rush & Co figured this climate conspiracy out and we can go back to being human locust. After all forest fires were here forever and yet socialist legal system locks people up for arson. Those activist judges need more talk radio in their lives.

There won't be any food if the Green New Deal is implemented.

Feel better? I hope so. Everyone needs an outlet.

On a completely different topic, did you know that the most abusive people online are also the most lacking in confidence, life experience and intelligence? I thought it was interesting. Maybe you will, too.

Am I abusing you by pointing at the obvious fact that there can be many causes to an effect? If you need a bubble protecting you from common sense and doubt you cannot go wrong with talk radio industry.

The truth can't be politicized. And the truth is, climate change has been going on long before us, and will continue long after we are gone. There is nothing we can do to stop this. You can try to spin it any way you like, but that doesn't change the truth. And trying to redistribute wealth or tax people for it is nothing more than cruel and unusual punishment.

Did you know the north pole has wondered about 1200 miles over the past 180 years? Are you aware that the earth flips every so often? This will drastically alter the climate in ways that we could never achieve.

I'm sorry lefties have such a hard time dealing with natural climate change, but there's nothing you can do to stop it. Your only option is to learn from it and adapt.
