It's about purchasing power. The Middle class tax cuts helped. The Middle class is still suffering. Not as bad as when Obama was in office, but nothing to write home about. Baby steps.
I've heard 900-1600 for the household It should be a lot more imo.
Finally, we agree on something! The economic disparity between the rich and poor is getting wider and wider! Marie Antoinette's "let them eat cake line" is at about the same level as Mitt Romney's "just borrow the money to go to college from your parents". We know what happened to her. Do Mitch and the Trumps still need their heads? I wonder if there's a Digital Guillotine App yet?

Tax cuts simply mean that the bottom 90% will have to fork out more for health care and education and have to accept a weaker public safety net. And thats why the big money donor class love tax cuts. They dont need a public safety net and can pay cash for all the health care and education they need.

I saved around $1300 compared to the old federal income tax rate. About half of it was ate up in rent/healthcare increases. Some to inflation and other rising expenses. Basically it didn't move the needle in my spending habits or financial outlook. No dancing in the street for me, lol.

Says who? Yea lets throw more money at the public sector, that'll really help.

Right. That's what it's about, purchasing power. Specifically the price of products you personally purchase. I'm sure tax bracket creep hurts a few people too.
