This judge made the right decision. Denver Democrats were violating the 8th amendment all along and the liberals who run the city sent out law enforcement to take blankets from vulnerable people on cold, bitter nights hoping they would leave Denver.

Denver like Los Angeles is a corrupt, very Democratic city where they spend a fortune on homelessness but the situation gets worse, worse and worse.

It's to bad that anyone has to subjected to the bitter, artic cold of a Denver winter night but hopefully next summer when the temperatures are warm, lots of people decide to camp outside in Denver and the Democratic mayor and city council have to face up to their own corruption and fraudulent use of tax payer money.

These liberal cities, state agencies and federal government spend a fortune and it goes into the pockets of their devoloper friends, workers who get paid to walk and give snacks, consultants, accountants and lots of "made-up" non-profits hoping to get big grants to spend on their "executives".

These camper got it wrong. If they claim they are illegal, they will get blanket and food. Unfortunately, they are Americans.

Yes, the average low temperature is 17 and it's not even January. They have relentless bitter winds much of the winter also.

At least after viral videos worldwide, they decided not to confiscate the homeless residents blankets many of whom are seniors blankets.

The Democrats who operate Denver would have loved to have not had viral videos of them sending tremendous amounts of law enforcement to steal the blankets of frail, homeless people.

Just like LA and San Francisco, the liberals want to see the homeless situation get worse and worse so they increase spending when only a penny or two on the dollar they tax the public goes to sheltering the chronically homeless, a majority goes to devolopers, consultants, researchers and grants to lots of different organizations that have lots of staff that makes six-figures for no reason.

Denver also has a very relentless wind to complement that 17 degree low.

They used to have a wide selection of single-room occupancies and motels with rates for any budget, even those who made minimum wage.

Denver has always had issues with a large segment of the population being addicted to alcohol, but the amount of the population addicted to drugs there is absolutely insane.

It is absolutely disgusting that people live outside in winter unless they CHOOSE to do so -- and in that case, I think that cities should provide a kind of campground (similar to Scout camps) with at least toilet and shower facilities and a large room for inside camping if they choose to do so. Either that or build some kind of very basic housing units.

Seriously, how much would something like that cost? I would bet that it would cost less than all current programs to help the homeless and the costs of increased crime due to homelessness. (I am referring to both scams by the supposedly homeless and by violence directed AT the homeless.) According to the following, the average homeless person cost the taxpayers about $35,600 per year in 2017.

Many if not most homeless are homeless by choice. There are many shelters available that will feed and house these people but they require they be CLEAN and SOBER. Many want to remain high and/or drunk so avoid these shelters. They'd rather be on the street and impaired.
