Trump and the Republican Party have bad mouthed the Dems over immigration since before he took office. Why don’t Trump and the Repubs pass an updated immigration bill? I know why. Because it is to their advantage to bad mouth the Dems instead of actually doing something to solve the problem. Then those who have been seeking asylum or crossing the border illegally would be able to stay in their own countries instead of walking 1,000 miles to the US.

Helping Central America to get rid of the gangs who make life in those countries incredibly unsafe would be a good start. But do the Repubs do that? No, because Trump and the Repubs would rather blame the Dems than to fix the issue. It’s time for the Republicans to actually deal with immigration. Design a program that works.

See whogo, you have bought their lies, like so many Trump supporters have...
No more anchor babies, build the entire wall I have seen firsthand how much it works, e verify, no education, no healthcare, no foodstamps. very simple.

The latest tax cut has shifted more of the total burden to workers. Payroll taxes made up 7.8% of national income last year while corporate taxes made up just 0.9%, the biggest gap in almost 2 decades. You are right, Trump is using his supporters and sadly they believe a man who lies daily.

Putting babies and kids in cages is disgusting. I don't want illegal immigration but, this administration goes to far.

Donald Trump eats brown babies for breakfast. Check out G. Bush II's inauguration speech.

Wow! It must be scary to live in your head.

Not sure why the Democrats dumped the working man in favor of the illegals.
Well, I can give you the answer. If they flood the country with enough illegals -- eventually they never lose an election or power.

No such thing as a “honest” lawbreaker. Their method of how they got here do not interest me nor does it matter. All illegals out. No exceptions.

The Dems. The Dems! LOL. What have the Reps done about it? A couple years back when they had the power, they could not even get a bill through with e-verify because the Reps in the so-called Freedom Caucus opposed it. It may be for different reasons, but neither party is all that interested in significantly cutting the flow of illegal, cheap labor into the US.

Central Americans don't provide any dirt.
It's amazing how the problems in Central America started November 2016.

Perhaps a discussion of what we HAD done before, how much $/aid/assistance we provided, and what the progress was would be more in line with the topic about "what changed?"
