But I guess you'd be happy if the good guy with the gun wasn't there and armed based on your comment above

Of course they would be happy if 20 or 30 died because then they could screech for gun control for a few more weeks. This was the worst possible outcome for liberals.

Look at the Democrat response to this. Criticizing the law abiding citizens saving lives by being armed and using guns legally to defend innocent people. They hate this as they just want to use violence by CRIMINALS to disarm the Law Abiding. How does that make sense??? It is a government control thing.
They love the collective.

We are responsible for our own safety. Get used to it. These people saved lives due to their actions and being prepared.

How do you jump to the conclusion that the poster would be happy if the good guy with the gun wasn't there?

You can support gun ownership and still feel sadness that the country struggles with so many gun violence incidents.

Doesn't mean I don't want someone to own a gun -- it just means it is sad that the USA culture today makes people feel like they need a gun in a church service.

It is sad.....very sad. No matter what your stance on gun ownership is.

"Good guys with guns" were part of a volunteer church security team. Good planning for the church.

Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden criticized the Governor of Texas for signing a bill that allows law-abiding Texans to defend themselves with firearms in places of worship. On Sunday, an armed man stopped a gunman in Texas after the gunman opened fire during church services.
Waiting on the media to ask Biden about this comment from earlier this year ....

Don't hold your breath. The MEDIA hates that law abiding citizens can carry guns in some places like Texas. This is not a narrative they promote, and it happens almost daily on a smaller scale all across the country where the law abiding successfully defend themselves from criminals with a gun.
