Will You Finally Admit That Evolution was nothing more than an elaborate hoax. However on the flip side If they do happen to find evidence of past microbial life then I will have to reconsider my position on evolution.
All the planets in our system are dead- barren and always have been minus our planet. There are millions of planets with life but we will never get to them. We can't even get to Mars that is only around 34.23 million miles away every 17 years vs light years to other planets with life.
If we only had a jump drive to cheat time and speed.

Not necessarily. The moon Titan has a thick methane atmosphere. That could be caused by some natural process...or by life. Carl Sagan was extremely interested in the possibility of microscopic life floating in the atmosphere of Venus. Titan also either definitely have methane seas and liquid methane rain, or might. I forget which. That could act as a replacement liquid, given that liquid water can't form there. Then there are the icy moons. Enceladus has had geysers erupting liquid water on its surface...so it seems pretty likely that has a liquid ocean beneath its frozen surface. I'm reminded of how life on the deep ocean floor is rare...until you find a hydrothermal vent. Those are often swarming with life. The icy moon Europa stands a good chance of having a liquid ocean beneath its icy surface too.
Also...we're just about at the point where we could build light sail the size of Texas and push it up to respectable percentages of light speed if we wanted to invest the resources if we wanted. The only problem would be slowing the thing down and making sure it isn't obliterated by space debris, which could be disastrous for anything similar to what we can build now that would fly at that speed.
How do you know there’s millions of planets with life?
Simple odds.
People have calculated the probabilities involved of earth-like planets orbiting helios-like stars. What is more likely - that this enormous and ancient universe, operating as far as we can see on the same physical and chemical laws everywhere has produced life only once or that life arises anytime the conditions allow?
This of course assumes that any life in the universe must be carbon-based, as it is here, and requires water, as it does here. What we do not know is whether life everywhere in the universe must be carbon-based, and whether the universal solvent must be water. It's possible to imagine other systems. Which is one reason why scientists are so interested in finding non-terrestrial life.
Radio signals we have created are now making their way across the galaxy at the speed of light, some other intelligent life form across the galaxy may be able to detect them 100K years from now when they get there... If they have space ship that can travel at the speed of light they can spend 100k years traveling to meet us earthlings.
Thanks to the inverse square law, incidental radio frequency emission from the Earth gets drowned out by background emission after only a few light years. We would need to intentionally use directed transmission to reach longer distances. For example, some of our radar systems might be detectable out to a few hundred light years. However, I don't think they carry much information.

Not ever gonna happen in our lifetimes. Why waste money even thinking about it. I sure don't see anyone living on Venus with a 875f surface temp. Save the money and rebuild our roads and bridges.
Until we have a jump drive like Taybor did in SPACE1999 we are not going anywhere. Can't even prove man was on the moon let alone making it to another planet and for sure not anything that is light years away.
Global warming is "an elaborate hoax" to bring down capitalism, evolution is an "elaborate hoax" to disprove god, it is clear that this idea that there is a universe out there is probably an "elaborate hoax" as well.
It's bunch of astrophysicists and astronomers trying to figure out how to bring down capitalism... or falsely disprove that there is God and Jesus. Maybe both.
In 6 short pages, we've gone from a simple point about space exploration, to global warming, via God, men in dresses, evolution and hoaxes.
