It was very LOW under obama, as soon as Trump was elected it went UP and has been on a steady upward trend.
I guess it means something.

So why is welfare so high? Why doesn't that carry weight vs more people working?
Of course some will think the economy is better. That's the rub, if you're working the economy can't be too bad.

It was pretty bad when Obama took office. Easy enough to go up and it did. Still wasn't good.

I think you have a pretty low bar for "fine." By most economic metrics, things are better now than under Obama. If you ask me which economy I'd rather have.....it is NO contest! Trump by a significant margin.

Payless filed for bankruptcy in 2017, 3 months after Trump took office. His tariffs caused it though huh?

read more, post less and you won't appear to be so ignorant...

There's Obama fine: 5.1% unemployment (after the slowest recovery from recession ever),

and then there's Trump fine: 3.5% unemployment.

You tell me which one forces up wages for working Americans.

Yet many people are STILL having to work two or more jobs to make ends meet and not because they are living beyond their means either. And those of you ho are making more money since Trump came into office, EARNED it not because Trump called the company you work for and told them to pay you more.

Always trying to position things as bad news, aren't you? The fact is that the middle class on up have seen their net worths skyrocket due to a roaring stock market (enabled largely by the reduction in corporate taxes but also the removal of suffocating regulations), and everyone is enjoying the opportunities that come with record-low unemployment. If that's not enough, the low-income are seeing their wages rise for the first time in more than a decade. So whether rich.....merely affluent.....straight middle.....or lower-income..... ALL Americans have gained under Trump.

You can try, but you simply can't convince enough voters that things aren't better under this current president. And that is why we see the desperation play ("Hail Mary" pass) by the Congressional Democrats.

there's stupid, and there's this.

Married voters: 55 Trump, 39 Hillary
White women: 47 Trump, 45 Hillary
White (privilege) college grad: 38% Trump
Non-white, non-college grad - the single greatest demographic likely NOT to own stocks: 77% Hillary.

I think you got the wrong 80%

if you got off whack-job youtube sites as your source of information, you'd be able to easily find what % of Americans work 2 jobs, and how that % compares to years past.

Hint: I wouldn't tell you to look if it actually favored your argument.

But, when you come back, tell us the job and income you had in 2016, and how Trump's policies have cost you that job.
