Proving yet again that the Democratic party is the only party interested in righting the injustices of the war on drugs.

That’s good. Having small portion of weed should not constitute 10 yrs jail time .

I will believe that when I see democrats taking real action on the federal level to dissolve the drug war completely, Obama had 8 yrs and did nothing of the sort, in fact MORE drug laws were created under his term!

The Christian Right/GOP would disagree and that's who currently controls the federal government.

When will Republicans stop refusing to distinguish marijuana from drugs like heroin, cocaine, and meth?

lol They had Congress and the White House and didn't do squat.

Illinois is grandfathering people in since it's legal there. Good for them. Other states are decriminalizing it finally. Better late than never.

When will democrats quit being hypocrites and recognize their party didn't do squat on the Federal level when they had the power. Clean your own house first. THEN you can talk. Repubs are coming around, finally.

So what was the deal with all those people locked up for marijuana during Obama's 8 years in office? That, on top of locking all those children in cages like animals. Democrats are every bit as sick and twisted as the RINOs. Only difference is the democrats have somehow convinced you their motives are better.

Zero “small government” Republican states have legalized Marijuana. On balance, Democrats are much more reasonable on this issue, and it’s not even close.
