Interesting strategy, it doesn't appear that Russia or China have an interest either way.

BRUSSELS — Europe is gambling on keeping the 2015 Iran nuclear deal alive by threatening to destroy it — a risky, oddly timed strategy that could backfire badly, European officials and analysts say.
The decision by France, Germany and Britain on Tuesday to challenge Iran’s breaches of the nuclear agreement and trigger what is known as the dispute resolution mechanism starts a clock that the Europeans may not be able to control, subject to unpredictable actions by the leaders of both Iran and the United States.

Let the EU deal with Iran, pay for everything and use their own troops. We are not the world's piggybank

Wasn't Trump supposed to make a better deal with Iran. Right now would be the perfect opportunity to negotiate with them.

They're already in violation of the treaty since they implemented the sanctions imposed by the US. They're trying to claim Iran unilaterally broke the agreement since they didn't reimpose their own sanctions. The effect of the US sanctions is the same. It is a legal maneuver to claim one side is in violation and demanding remedies or punishment based on that position. Perhaps it is an attempt to use it to petition the UN to authorize military action. That's always been my impression of the P5+1 agreement. The P5 would break it in order to create a legal justification for war.

Do you mean that Iran is breaching the agreement?

That can't be true, you dems all ensured us that Obama solved this problem with his little deal.

Britain has left the Obama agreement and is now supporting Trump's stance on Iran.

Iran has consistently broken the terms of the agreement and is working towards developing nuclear weapons.

The US backed out of the agreement and now we are going to criticize Iran for non-compliance.
If the UN were to take military action against countries with nuclear power that didn’t sign the non-proliferation agreement they would be busy attacking Israel, NK, Pakistan and India.

To destroy Iran, one general at a time.

You don’t deal with mad mullahs.

This took years of negotiation to put together involving 6 countries, do you really think that Trump is capable of working out anything remotely difficult as the agreement.

Iran never broke the agreement until this year they were in compliance until we reneged on our part and withdrew.
