I'm a slightly right of center libertarian who was one of the "never Trump" people before it even had a name, but the portion of the left that absolutely lost their minds when Trump won are doing everything in their power to get me to go back on that commitment.
I honestly never though the left would get this bad. Obviously it's not everyone, so I really shouldn't generalize, but damn man, you need to get your fellow liberal Democrats back in check.
Easier said than done. Unless something radically changes I'm voting for Trump in 2020 despite my extremist position as a liberal Democrat.

I could see how the enemies of the US might think that way because they draw a moral equivalent between terrorist leaders and US officials....but that equivalence does not actually exist.
Also, I mean, they could try it. The repercussions for doing so would be severe.
Killing terrorist leaders is always fair game, if other countries have a problem with that and seek to retaliate by killing US leaders, they'll be dooming millions in their country to die for their stupidity.

Trump campaigned against endless war in the Middle East. Right now people all across Flyover Country are looking at one another and saying, "That m------f----r lied. He's going to start another dumba$$ war in the Middle East and our problems here at home are just going to get worse."
Now that is not going to happen because it is clear that
those voters in flyover country do not want to think for themselves
and find anything Trump does satisfactory cause big daddy is
looking out for them. Yes sir , the master is looking after his subjects.
Anyone notice the timing of this? Happens right before impeachment
talks are starting up again.
Yup, Dems cannot be trusted to keep Americans safe. if anything, with this move, they are going to their back up plan, and they are hoping that Americans die in retaliation, so that they can "make their case to the American people"
Reality is, Iran was going to attack whether we did this or not--Trump did what was necessary to send a message. Obama and the crew would have soft-toed this one and would have gone to the UN for more "sanctions" and to get our "allies" involved :eyesroll:
I am a liberal Democrat who fully supports the killing of that Iranian beast.

Jamal Khashoggi was never an American citizen. He was a Saudi national who occasionally wrote opinion pieces for the Washington Post. The United States had no role in his murder. It is sad that he was murdered, but the story was nothing other than political. The Saudis kill/behead hundreds or thousands of people every year. They are a barbaric people.
And yet our leaders including the orange dotard pander to their every wish. Saudis hate the Shiite Persians read iranians more than anyone in the world. Convenient that we are doing the Saudi’s dirty work.
