Yes, it's right because impeachment means nothing other than one party puts on a partisan show with hopes of destroying an incumbent Pres from being reelected. It failed miserably. No one cares except the left wing loonies and they were never going to vote for him anyway.

Yes there is a reason, they aren't trustworthy. You don't inform untrustworthy people like Adam Schiff or the Iraqis unless you want the mission to fail.

By all accounts, he was their genius for the past 20 years. And how would you know anything about the replacement's competetence. When it comes to our enemies, you liberals seem to think one person is as able as another and they have an endless supply of competent people. Does that apply to our country, too? Trump replaced Obama, did that amount to no difference?

And impeachment was boosting Trump's support and odds for re-election. He needs no distraction from impeachment.

I think you are right. People have had it up to their eyeballs with US interventionism in the middle east. (Up until Trump killed the general, right wing news was all about getting out of Syria, Iraq, etc). No one, rightfully so, can figure out why we are still there. If anything, this will help candidates with more isolationist positions. The die-hard Trumpers, of course, won't change but nothing will change them. It's the undecided INDs that will move away from Trump on this. Then again, if Trump is his usual all smoke and no fire the issue will have died down and be forgotten by election day.

One of the reasons we are in such a mess in so many places is that we have had leaders who tried to over-think things and couldn't make a decision without taking a poll.

Trump was willing to look the other way with Iran, let them play their silly stupid power trip game until they attacked the embassy. They crossed the line and now they paid the price for it. Is there something hard to understand about that?

We have yet to see a shred of evidence that Iran was planning something big that taking out this scumbag would prevent.

Looks like the wish that we leave Iraq may come true today as their parliament will be voting on a resolution to kick our 5000 troops us out. Art of the deal.
