I live in VA. VA Beach just voted to protect 2nd amendment no matter the law. Several other cities have done the same. The governor is backing down. They went to far to fast.
Sunlight is a great disinfectant. Over and over we hear "Nobody wants to take away your legal guns!" from this swamp creatures.

Thanks to transplants moving from blue NY/the North areas and voting Democrat causing the very problems in their new location that they moved away from NY/North to get away from.
They are ruining a lot of the South by doing this.

People complain about illegals, but I find coastal liberals are a much greater danger to a free society.

They wonder why we hate em. San Diego is just a smaller scale of this. In our back Country the coastal libs bought all the property and put up no hunting signs. After enough of them became dug in like ticks they elected Country board of Sup that made the entire area no hunting or shooting. They even try to do this on public land.

Voter turnout last year in rural areas was very low as it typically is in such years. I don't think it will be this fall though. I think there's a good chance this gun issue combined with all the baggage of some incumbents (the governor and his infamous photo) is going to hand VA back to the GOP.
