Remember, Iran would actually be an economic power today if it weren't for the US to put their own puppet in the 1940's - he didn't exactly run the country in a good way, causing the Islamic Revolution of 1979 and the current regime which doesn't care about the people.

Actually Iran would be an economic power today if it had behaved throughout modern times in a civilized manner. They are so wacked in the head over there, they kill each other while attending the same funeral.
i find it impressive how people in a country just will believe that their government is the good guys and the other government is bad even though it is your government that sends people thousands of miles away and is actively killing people in their countries.
the general was a welcome guest in iraq by the iraqi government. he isnt the terrorist, the people who killed him (and other people there) are the terrorists. government's have a habit of labeling any opposition as "terrorists" and citizens have a habit of accepting that and accepting that their government is free to just kill anyone deemed a terrorist.

Really. I never see anything stamped "Made In Iran". Surely, devotion to their backward religion keeps them from being much more economically advanced.
