I think I would de-esculate if six B-52's were ready to bomb my country.
B-52's have a vast payload and arsenal of weapons and they are fairly intimidating weapons even after over 65 years in service.
They are useless against nay country that has even a hint of a modern AA system. Even in the recent conflicts with Iraq, they mostly were used to shoot standoff missiles. Afghanistan was no issue because they never had AA systems anyway, not any that could touch that altitude.

It's up to them.
They should not have started atacking ships and sponsoring terrorism in the first place and could have avoided sanctions had they not embarked on a nuclear program which is ultimately aimed at developing nuclear weapons.

we did not bomb the supply routes from Russia and china. Rail heads from china; cargo vessels in Haiphong harbor,etc………..big difference to what needs to be done to iran.
