Nothing spells out happiness quite like smoldering heaps of chicken nuggets in the sand, like a pack of US made and delivered MOABs!

How does this differ from the four that were sent to the Middle East back in May of 2019? The US has 744 of them sitting around doing much of nothing now as they're leftovers from the Cold War.

Not sure I understand your question or your point. The US has plenty of aircraft, bombs, tanks, soldiers, etc "not doing much of nothing" (actually they are very busy in training and non combat duties). Let's hope it stays that way. 99% of the time our military is meant as a deterrence.

In terms of B52s, there are not 744 sitting around doing nothing, LOL...you guys in P&C never cease to amaze me. That's how many were built! Only 78 still are operational, and useful for good reasons: they are economical to use and have extraordinary fuel and bomb capacity compared to our more modern bombers.

Britain sadly couldn't avoid events in 1939, however Iran has an opportunity to avoid a conflict with the most powerful military the world has ever known through de-esculation.

Iran has very liitle in the way of a navy, has mainly a second hand airforce which operates aircraft sich as the F-4 Phantom and has a conscript army which also has old out of date equipment.

The US aren't interested in invading, they will just strike again and again and again until Iran finally learns it's lesson.

The US could also economically destroy Iran even further by taking out infrastructure, oil fields and other economic resources thereby causing more poverty and further civil unrest aimed at the Iranian regime.

There is only going to be one winner in any conflict between Iran and the US, as militarily and economically they are worlds apart.

The US government has flat out stated and then proven that it will not be bound by any kind of agreement with Iran.

The US government has made it clear that it will not permit Iran the only sure means of protection it can have from a US invasion (lessons learned from the fact that the US invaded Iraq but has not invaded North Korea).

The US has already made clear that it will not rest while Iran exists as a sovereign nation, because it's an "axis of evil." Everyone knows you can't negotiate with evil. So Iran essentially has nothing to lose.

Now, someone will say, "but what about Israel and Saudi Arabia."

I will say, "Israel and Saudi Arabia have more than enough capability to take care of themselves." If they get into a war with Iran and need assistance, the US can be right there behind them.

But for sure, the US should not be putting American troops in harms way before Israeli or Saudi troops have first spilled some blood.

Did you even read the article you linked to your lame post? Because the answer to your question lies therein!

Those four BUFFs back in May were flown to Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, NOT Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean.

And 744 B-52s just sitting around doing nothing!? I ASS-u-me that you are talking about the ones in the 'Boneyard' at Davis Monthan Air Force Base in Arizona. And nowhere near 744! Because Boeing built a total of 744 B-52s at plants in Seattle, Washington, and Wichita, Kansas, over 10 years beginning in 1952.

This lack of memory is just what the left likes....no history of events.
Actually, the Iranians have much longer memories than 1979. They haven't forgotten 1953, where the US, egged on by the British, who initiated a economic boycott because they were upset over the oil nationalization plans in Iran, overthrew a democratically elected prime minister through a coup d'etat. That lead to the Shah's absolute and repressive political control in Iran.

Wonder why the Iranians may be displeased with the US (and the UK)?

744 or 78 makes no difference. They are not a deterrence in today's world. The only deterrence is Jets. Sending in numerous F-35's into the region is a deterrence. Sending in B-52's says nothing. Have none of you learned nothing in relation to modern day warfare?

That case is decided on the pretext that the land {soil } of the US Embassies are on Irian soil ..
Similar to a US ship on the ocean .We don't own the ocean the ship is on but do have rights to the ship, as if its in US property{ Dry Dock}
In summery the Embassies are a ship floating on an ocean of sand known as Irian.
International law is like Maritime law....perplexing.
