Iran is stupid to allow Facebook and twitter etc into the country. These are used by the CIA and the NGOs funded by governments determined to stir chaos and regime change and color revolutions. China banned these NGOs from Hong Kong for good reasons in the wake of the protests and violence by thugs and terrorists who caused so much destruction in the name of so-called “democracy”, but Iranian leaders are too weak and stupid to do the same.
So you for Islamic theocracy? Wow leftists are somethig else.
If the US does not want people interfering in our domestic affairs, then we should not interfere in others. Either that or quit whining about it when it happens.
Not at all the same thing.
We have free, fair (relatively so) and open elections in this country.
Nations that do not have free, fair and open elections need to have their domestic affairs interfered with so that we don't need to one day send a bunch of our innocent young men to fight their innocent young men.
The Obama administration failing to support the 2009 popular uprising in Iran was nothing less than the chance to avoid a future nuclear exchange with Iran.
We may be fortunate enough to have a second chance to support regime change in Iran.
If we get that opportunity, we must capitalize on it.
If the theocracy is beaten down, then it is very likely that this would be the beginning of the end of the Muslim bulge in population and spread. If the Iranians had the ability to shed the Muslim dominance, then in all likelihood, there would be a thriving Iran in the Middle East, and they would be a power and trading partner, as well as consumer, and that would rub off on the other ME nations.
Without Iran pushing the Shia faith, then Wahhabi would be left as the sole export of terror...and that could be controlled.
Because Tweeting is actually DOING something right? If Tweeting was making policy, we'd actually have an useful president. Instead we have a president who spends more time on social media than a gaggle of teenagers. It's pathetic.
Liberals demand the separation of Church and State here, but see no problem when other people suffer under Mosque and State.
Why? well the ideology is more important than people. Liberals (not all) believe deeply, they know what's best in the long run, for the state, and therefore people will benefit.
In other words, if they run things, all will benefit at the expense of a few. The question that liberals can't answer is, what happens when the few are no longer "there".
Answer = new world order. All wealth must be controlled by the few. Ooooppps... looks like circular thinking to me.
Actually, if you click on Trump's tweet as posted in your link most of the replies were in English and often they were from Americans critical of Trump, not Iranians praising him. Just more fake news from the Trump crowd.
The same Barry Soroto A.K.A Barack Hussein Obama who wrote that, in the event of a conflict " I will stand with the Muslims."
I'll agree Iran has a shot to become a better neighbor in the world, sadly based on their
past just like Barry Soroto A.K.A Barack Hussein Obama they will pass on the opportunity.
Obama never wrote that.
