In fact, I’m pretty sure that most people reside here in this place alongside me: the desire for compassion and diversity and equality and justice; that these things aren’t fringe ideologies or extremist positions—but simply the best way to be human.
I think most people want more humanity, not less.
I think the vast middle is exhausted by the cruelty of these days.
That these aspirations seem radical to some people, is probably an alarm that they’ve moved so far into the extremes of their fortified ideological bunkers and been so poisoned by the propaganda, that normal now seems excessive, that equality now seems oppressive, that goodness feels reckless.
This is just a snippet...read the whole article here.
Emotional drivel by a crazy leftist attributing everything that is right and virtuous to liberals and the converse that all conservatives are evil.
1. flooding the nation with illiterate illegals is not compassionate, it is a nation killer that destroys wages
2. Massive taxation is not compassionate, it saps the will of hard working people to prosper
3. Attacking religious values is not inclusive, it is eliminating morality and sense of right and wrong in the nation.
4. Families with "two mommies" is not healthy for any child or the future of the nation
5. NAFTA and China trade status destroyed the middle class
6. Eliminating "red lining" in loans nearly destroyed the entire financial system
7. Eliminating immigration quotas which favored developed nations has led to a continued decline in the IQ of America
8. Importing Muslim extremists who do not embrace western culture makes the nation more dangerous, not "diverse"
9. Political correctness is not kind, it is a tyrannical attempt to stifle dissent
We have heard all this nonsense before and the facts of the situation remain that liberalism has caused more misery to the nation than all of the nation's previous enemies combined.
You can have equality in opportunity, but you can't have equality of outcome without holding some people back. It is not the government's job to hold people down, pick winners and losers, especially based on trivial things like gender and race. That is sexism and racism no matter how to try to twist and contort it, and it's exactly what the far left is demanding.

Agreed I had to rep you on this one. Free will and equality does not work.

Because in modern socialist USA, government has entire industries dependent on subsidies. It's how government dictates who has the right to exist. That way, government has 100% control over which industries grow, and which industries shrink/die.
Subsidies for farmers is of value, since I do like to eat, and I assume you do as well. Coal miners have been beat and battered economically for years, I have no problem allowing them a decade of relative peace and comfort. If Epstein was allowed to get away with having a pedophile island thanks to democrats, than I am all for Republicans helping out struggling working class families.

It is absolutely hillarious statement considering the magnitude and scope of government funding of just about everything. Equality of opportunity with the people enjoying entranched wealth, privilege, control of government and financial system. Right wing mind was demolished by talk radio.
