Good news. Trump is designating an additional $7.2 billion for the border wall. It looks like this wall is getting built after all. Well done. This is good for our country. It will also be good for Trump's campaign rallies and his re-election campaign.

Trump planning to divert additional $7.2 billion in Pentagon funds for border wall

President Trump is preparing to divert an additional $7.2 billion in Pentagon funding for border wall construction this year, five times what Congress authorized him to spend on the project in the 2020 budget, according to internal planning figures obtained by The Washington Post.

The Pentagon funds would be extracted, for the second year in a row, from military construction projects and counternarcotics funding. According to the plans, the funding would give the government enough money to complete about 885 miles of new fencing by spring 2022, far more than the 509 miles the administration has slated for the U.S. border with Mexico.

Sounds good to me. I am sure some liberal somewhere has already filed a lawsuit to get one of their buddies in the judicial branch to stop it, but in the end, Trump will win, because Trump just about always wins.

Its only unpopular to bad guys, and unpatriotic Americans who don't want to see our country protected. To the overwhelming majority of Americans, and law abiding legal immigrants, the Wall is a beautiful thing.

You are in the minority on this one.

So bizarre that Trump supporters are ok with diverting funds away from the military. Goes to show they really do not care about the military as much as they say. I remember a short time ago when they were cheering the additional funds going to the military to build it back up but now are ok with those same funds being diverted. I get whiplash trying to follow his supporters.

If there is that much petty cash in the pentagon, then the funding needs to be cut, they obviously have more money than they need.

Don't be too sure about that. His loyalists don't mind being lied to, so why would stealing matter?
