In the election season, the Left and their institutional propagandists couldn't win by debating the issues and so they tried to win by making statements that didn't include rational arguments.
Instead they crafted statements that forced Trump to be "impolite" to make his rational point in regard to the interests of his voter base, according to the etiquette rules that the Left invented.
The Left invented this inane, abused nouveau etiquette, formed around their idiosyncratic political goals, precisely so that they could avoid talking about the fairness and rationality of the issues. Because their positions are rife with double standards, in turn because they are pretty much just formed around minority racial interests and not any concept of nationhood or what is good for the nation and its inhabitants as a whole.
I follows that you reap what you so, in the last election, in this period of desperate antidemocratic scheming that still hasn't unseated Trump (nor will it), and into the foreseeable future in this political and social environment that the Left has intentionally corrupted.
I don't get it, being civil shouldn't be controversial.
