I would argue that the "headmaster" of that "Christian school" has continuous outrage if a multi-colored birthday cake angers him/her to the point of expelling the student who was the recipient of that birthday cake.
I may not agree with their views but it's sad how so many that tout diversity turn on a dime into raging bigots about various religions all while ironically turning up their nose at the school etc. for being "closed minded".
P.S. The blanket statements about these schools giving bad educations sounds just like the right wingers slamming all public schools. Here is an opportunity to be smarter\better than knee jerk political dogma.
I would be suspect of the quality of science taught at this school if they use the bible as their scientific source.
All religions ultimately teach exclusion, intolerance, and hatred of any that are not like them.

The school did not say she was expelled over the cake. She had on going misconduct and violations of school policy for 2 years. Sounds like they were looking for any reason to get her out of there. And actually a private school can make their own justifications for suspension/expulsion.
Actually the school did say they expelled her due to her social media post of a picture of her with a rainbow colored cake.

the rainbow is God's creation and is a symbol of His covenant with mankind after the Flood.
