When you have gotten away with stealing millions of dollars, you lay low. You don’t do things to call attention to yourself, like...I dont know...starting a fully televised war with the president of the United States.
So, this guy was in court in Los Angeles, and on a break took a two hour phone call with the Southern District of New York about his case on the east coast. Comes back and takes the stand is is a total jerk when questioned by the California State Bar attorney AND THEN is arrested by the feds while leaving that hearing around 6pm PST.
