I don't know Pelosi's reasons for delaying. However, there was no constitutionally mandated deadline for her to submit the articles to the Senate. Now she has. He's impeached and there's going to be a trial whereby he will be acquitted. But he will still be impeached and that is what is important to me and millions like me.

From what I've found on Wikipedia, The President seems to be impeached now that the articles of impeachment have been submitted to the Senate. But President Trump has still not been convicted of any wrong doing as of the moment, so President Trump is still innocent, until otherwise found guilty. We'll see how it turns out.
