I certainly think we should reduce our annual quotas for legal immigration at this time. We have quite a mess now with millions here illegally to sort out.

Awesome video. Thank you. Should be shown in our public school system and throughout the media.

So what change in immigration policy led to the stock market crash and the Great Depression?

Close the borders. Deny illegals anything on the taxpayer dime. Deny them food, water, shelter, health care, and their freedom if possible. Illegals are like vermin. Once you cut off their food and water supply they tend to move on. Unleash a beast like the Rat Terrier or a cat to catch and kill them, in this case, our Rat Terrier and cat would be ICE and the ones that aren't caught and killed run for the hills and go back home. A hard-line stance is meant to be cold and ugly. These are the measures that have to be taken. I say 50% to 65% of the country would go along with it too. Especially when they learn that their real-world costs of healthcare, Heath insurance, and car insurance premiums would be lower, their wages would rise and their safety would increase. Close the borders now.

I encourage everyone to read this in the voice of the Joker. The one voiced by Mark Hammill...

Great video! We should have had a moratorium years ago. Since 1965, we have allowed into this country legally 50 million immigrants and countless millions of illegal aliens. With unrelenting numbers like that, assimilation isn't happening---and it needs to happen. We've allowed millions into this country whose cultures are incompatible with ours.

Yet the swamp creatures sit on their hands and do nothing about this issue. The few who get it and want something done get drowned out.

To see how your rep and senators stand on this issue and what their immigration grade is:

https://www.numbersusa.com/content/my/tools/grades

Sadly, these days my rep and senators get failing grades.

All that said, I do take one exception to the video. In the chart showing countries where immigrants come from, Puerto Rico should not be included. Puerto Ricans are US citizens and can live anywhere on US soil.

A moratorium on immigration is like a moratorium on eating out. If you have no discipline... going out all the time, eating crap, becoming poor, obese, getting in fights at Popeyes... it's a step in the right direction. But if you've got your act together at all, you're better off just cutting down and being more selective about it.

Immigration policy of the 20s had nothing to do with the 1929 market crash or the great depression.

America is very prosperous now. I doubt we were ever more prosperous at any point than we are now. So your assertion is pure hyperbole. Without immigration our workforce would greatly suffer. Since most Americans are too lazy to work and keep begging the government to protect their useless jobs
