The media and democrat party knows very well that the enthusiasm for the Dem candidates is low overall when you aggregate the candidates and average it all out.

Yes, there are some crazy excited Bernie fans, and each candidate has a small group of fervent supporters, but on the grand scale, support is weak....nothing like the Obama years.

We wll see a steady stream of propaganda from the media like this as the media tries to drump up support and enthusiasm for the media's party of choice between now and election day.

I just ignore it all. It's bunk and they know it. That's why they try so hard to hide the details of the polls/surveys, or dont provide it all along with the articles.

If you could see the details, you'd see very small and inadequte number of persons polled, may not even be registered voters, or might be 65% democrats and 35% republicans, or some other type of bogus sampling practices were used.

They have all kinds of tricks to use to mislead readers. I used to live in Atlanta, and a radio talk show host was a former professional polster, and he'd divulge a lot of the dirty tricks they use on his shows. He basically said, look only at the very last polls the day before any election. He said those will have the highest likelhood of being accurate. So, let's wait until Nov 2nd to pay attention to this garbage.

People cannot stand this loser of the popular vote who has in his reign of terror made the biggest case for demolishing the antiquated and useless Electoral College. The USA is the only nation where the majority is ruled by the tyranny ignorance and stupidity of the minority. What a rotting pile of feces that nonsense is!

In an age of instant mass communications middleman government (aka "representative democracy") is what's truly antiquated and useless.

The original argument for representative government was that it was physically impossible for citizens to travel to Washington to vote so they needed to send "representatives." The problem though is that professional politicians learned to game the system long ago so the only constituents they really represent any longer are the donors and lobbies who buy their souls.

So if we're really going to overhaul government and make it truly democratic let's include demoting politicians to managers who implement our policy decisions rather than just pretending to represent our interests over the interests of donors and lobbyists.

The problems I have with polls -- and especially if a poll does not use a large and non-biased sampling -- are:

1. They might discourage people from voting for a "back runner" who the polls indicate don't have a chance of winning

2. They might give a candidate a false sense of security

3. They might prevent people from voting if they show one party's leading candidate with a significant lead over the opposing party's candidate because 1) they think they don't have to vote if "their" candidate appears to have a big enough lead, or 2) they won't vote because they think that "their" candidate doesn't have a chance.

While I tend to agree that a lot of people can't stand Trump, take a close look at the clowns that are running as Democrats! They don't give a lot of people a reason to vote for them....other than they are not Trump!

As far as a reign of terror goes, spend some time in a 3rd world country...you might reevaluate that statement!

Why so offended?

It says things like "Joe Biden edged out Trump 51.4%-48.6% in a hypothetical matchup, according to a poll from Florida Atlantic University."

That's neck to neck.

Its not propaganda, it is what Florida Atlantic University polls found. These polls are going to change so many times before Nov, so there is no point in even looking at them.

Gee, the OP had absolutely no problem whatsoever with USA Today posting news about polls exactly one month ago!

USA TODAY Poll: Impeached or not, Trump leads his Democratic rivals for another term
Quote:
If a USA Today poll says Trump is winning, you can bet he’s blowing away the competition by a considerable margin.

Why do you the think the dims are trying to impeach. I’m sure their internal polling shows they’re in trouble! Trump 2020
