Marsha Blackburn is right on target !!!
We know there won't be a fair trial when Shifty Schiff is a fact witness and one of the House Managers !!!

So yeah, its a show trial made for media profits, entertainment value, and political posturing !!!

All agree in DC the show must go on !!! Its as boring as the Roman Circus was exciting !!!

That is not the premise of this at all. If someone can exercise an advantage legally that is fine.

Trump attempted to exercise an illegal advantage. Trump broke the law. Trump committed a crime. Very different than the senators who have to attend a trial.

When McCarthy said that Biden shouldn't be able to campaign if Bernie couldn't, it was a laugh out loud moment. Like McCarthy even cares about Bernie or fairness, for that matter.

How about the senators who are getting cold hard cash from the RNC for defending the president? Shouldn't they recuse?

How about the senators who hang out a the Trump Hotel bar every night? Should they recuse?

How about the senators who hang out at maralago? Shouldn't they recuse?

How about McConnell whose wife works for Trump? Shouldn't he recuse?

How about the known lapdogs--Graham, McConnell, Rubio, Scott and more than a few others. Should they recuse?

The above have a very serious conflict of interest.

Marsha Blackburn is about as objective as the Trump spawn. She should just do her job and shut up. Nobody takes her seriously.

Sounds reasonable. As long as every Republican who has endorsed or been endorsed by Trump also recuse themselves.

They don’t go recuse themselves. It’s mot lie
Anyone takes them seriously. This impeachment is going for a quick acquittal with even some Dem senators voting for acquittal
