I noticed when Trump was blathering on, trying to entertain the crowd, and mentioned that Congress was trying "to impeach the son of a b***h" (his words, speaking in third person) and the crowd erupted in laughter, not one black player standing behind him smiled.

My theory is that Coach Oregeron said "we're going, and if you don't go, you're benched next season". This is just my opinion by the way. I don't know why they went. I'm just giving my opinion. I'm basing this on the kind of traditionalistic, authoritarian culture that exists in the Deep South. I live in the South, so I have a little bit of experience with such.
LOL. You posted a link that has next to nothing to do with what I've said. Did you even read the article you linked to????? It says teams usually skip or not get invited when there are other more important things happening... like war, impeachment, etc.
Was there a war when all those teams declined to visit Trump???
Furthermore, the fact that one article can contains most of the teams who missed their visits (dating back to the 1980s) and the reasons behind them , shows how rare such an occurrence is. You've basically made my point for me. You didn't think about that did you?
