I don't know. I think it will be purple but go Trump again is a stretch. He won on a margin who maybe stayed home due to Comey's reinvestigation into the Hillary e-mails or Hillary being "inevitable." The thing.that hurts Trump right now, is he is the most disliked president at this point in the re-election process since Ford at 52%. I would say 30-something% are democrats so 20% of the disfavorable are independents don't like him, myself included.
Any of the swing states he won in 2016 minus Ohio aren't locks nor is Arizona which too is becoming purple. If he loses Florida, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Michigan, Trump is gonzo. All he needs is to lose four swing states. Those six states are gonna be important states to watch.

Otherwise probably same map. 2nd most likely to me would be maybe AZ as it is being California-ized. 2024 in play for sure, possibly even as a light blue state by then.

Yes taxes are a factor but ignoring 600K for a crappy 3bed 1 bath house and $2500 a month rents for a 1 BR are also a factor.
Im still betting Trump pulls AZ out by a small margin. 2024 IMHO a different story. Making 80K a year and being poor in CA does not compute for many people so they go where 80K is at least lower middle class.
