i like Yang because he is the only one who supports research in liquid thorium reactors, as china and India are building pilot plants NOW..this is the energy/green technology of the future which we can also get out of the middle east with as a bonus....UBI will die in whichever house the republicans control..and the oil industry will give thorium a hard time as well

No I am talking about how the left and complicit media says free cake and ice cream for everyone, and then the conservatives are in a position of saying no, not everyone can have it.
Emotion tells the typical fool they want and are even entitled to cake & ice cream. This despite the logic nothing is free, nor can everyone have an equal portion.

I do agree republicans have to have better messaging and they need to address problems they have to often ignored !!! I am a Trump supporter but not so much a fan of republicans who have roll over for the left like pet dogs far to much !!! They are in a street fight and still today they want to play by the rules while the democrats have no such scruples !!! If it wasn't for Trump they would still be in the corner whimpering with all the best language of a canned politician !!!
Some are starting to get it !!! Senator McSally gets it !!!

I'm a liberal Democrat and I like him too! He won't make it this time but there's always 2024.

1. Libertarianism is not conservatism. Its social liberalism, which is an ideology that communists share.

2. Any actual economic libertarian would be able to easily conclude that Universal Basic Income does not even pass muster as an economic concept, let alone one that is executable.

I thought that "libertarian conservatives" were supposed to know how money works?! The value of money within a national economic system is solely predicated on its supply in people's pockets. If you put an additional $1k in everyone's pocket, the cost of everything will rise to neutralize that "Universal" rise in wealth. That's exactly how money and pricing works. This is a basic supply and demand principle.

This mechanism is exactly reflected in the "universal" rise in rent and the cost of goods in any region that sees a "universal" rise in the median income. You can witness this around the nation, for your edification. For Pete's Sake.

UBI is three card monte on the political stage, and any smart voter would treat Yang like the type of person who makes a living from three card monte.

I'm unsure why I have to explain this to an ostensible "libertarian conservative".

Yang is an authoritarian, would-be micromanager of other people's lives. He's a Confucianist.

i don't have the numbers because I don't know how many people it takes to administer all the social welfare programs currently in place.

i would wager a pretty good amount that administering ONE program that doesn't require ANY eligibility thresholds and checks, will require less headcount than SEVERAL that do have eligibility requirements.

`
yes, best of the D's and he's a hundred times more intelligent than trump, and a thousand times more likable and diplomatic than trump.
i unwillingly voted for trump as he was the lesser of two evils, but if it somehow comes down to yang vs trump, it's yang by a country mile.
