It's no worse than booze.
Either has health risks.
Neither should be done while driving or operating heavy machinery.
Should decriminalize all drugs.
Government should have zero say or control over what we want to do or put in our bodies.
As long as it is not a danger to others (like dui) then who cares.

I don’t think this poll is turning out like bawacky expected, but that won’t stop him from continuing his endlessly blabbering about republicans and pot.

Do you drink coffee or coke? By your logic it is immoral to use the drug caffeine.

America is not a theocracy. We don't regulate morality. We regulate people trying to hurt others by making it a criminal act and punishing offenders. Using marijuana creates no victims. You are not hurting anyone but yourself perhaps by lighting up in the comfort of your own home.

It's no different if it's alcohol, weed, tobacco, etc, etc. We do regulate most drugs that are shown to have a detrimental effect on society, basically "hard drugs". This is done because the community as a whole is demonstrated to be harmed by the use and sale of these substances. Marijuana, on the other hand, is a "soft drug". It should have been legalized and taxed long ago.

People are hanging on to an outdated way of thinking. We allow gay marriage, trans this and that and identity crap, and whatever else that used to be taboo but still hung up on drugs.
Prescription drugs and the food we eat are just as bad and dangerous. Just legalize or at least decriminalize drugs. In this day and age it's just plain stupid to be locking people up for a bag of weed or coke, and potentially wrecking their lives over it.

If some dude wants to go out on a coke binge Saturday night but is all good and sober for work Monday then where is the harm?
And while we're at it, there's no good damn reason for prostitution to be illegal anymore either. We're letting people chop off their weiners and identify as "they" and whatever other nonsense but we don't allow people to go out and make a living offering a much needed service. If prostitution was legal the number of rapes and sex crimes would drop like a garbage truck off the Empire State Building.

Well, ciggies and booze are legal, how is pot so much more nightmarish and immoral???

Pot should be legal, ditto for all drugs.........moral, immoral, whatever.

Humans left to their own devices are going to do what they want to do.

Hold on prostitution does not in any way slow sex crimes- period!!! - facts - 2 -the majority of those working the trade already had scars from early in their lives or are owned by drugs or other emotional or psychological issues. No right person wants -100 Encounters in one day -

Moral? I don't think morality has anything to do with people using cannabis.

The question that I would pose, " is someone being considerate SMOKING cannabis in their own home?"

I can't stand the smell of it. Here in Canada each province gets to set their own regulations regarding it. They can't make it illegal, but can enforce certain rules such as age. They have also allowed Strata's, ( condo associations I think you call them ) to set rules regarding it's use. In my building, they have banned the smoking of cannabis, because of the smell, since some people are not considerate enough to think of others. So far so good. I've seen no problems since legalization here.
