The question that I would pose, " is someone being considerate SMOKING cannabis in their own home?"

I can't stand the smell of it. Here in Canada each province gets to set their own regulations regarding it. They can't make it illegal, but can enforce certain rules such as age. They have also allowed Strata's, ( condo associations I think you call them ) to set rules regarding it's use. In my building, they have banned the smoking of cannabis, because of the smell, since some people are not considerate enough to think of others. So far so good. I've seen no problems since legalization here.
Very common for associations to ban tobacco smoking on common grounds and inside attached units including balconies and do so with a super majority support of owners.

Most leases of rental housing ban smoking of tobacco products. Most hotels ban smoking in units and on balconies/ patios.

In states where recreational marijuana is legal, associations, landlords and hotels are banning marijuana, because of the odor.

Do you believe that it is morally acceptable to use cannabis in the privacy of your own home? Why or why not?
I don't care what other people do.

However, using sedative hypnotics of any form is a cop out on life. If you feel you need to escape from reality, your main mission should be to alter your current reality.

I don't use any of that crap; I don't drink alcohol either. Life is very interesting and wonderous and I do not want to waste precious time being stoned or drunk.

Depends on the type of housing and ownership.

Landlords tend to ban smoking.

Associations governing attached housing tend to ban smoking and where marijuana is legal, including marijuana.

Most hotels ban smoking and where legal, marijuana, too and impose financial penalties for offenders. This includes Trump properties.

I suppose you haven't noticed that it was the Republican Party and Republican operatives which has been behind the contract prison movement. This got to be a big deal after Reagan, and the Republican push to privatize everything including schools and prisons and utilities.

I have to wonder where you get your information, or perhaps you just make it up as you go, it always seems like opposite day with you.

There’s not one pot smoker I know that hasn’t gone to work stoned at least a few times. But it is what it is.

I retired from work before I ever smoked a joint. I supervised up to 20 employees, and can't imagine going to work stoned, or drunk for that matter. I don't know about moral, but it would have been unethical.

People in most if not all states have and will continue to try. Most of the initiatives fail, even when a majority of people support it- not the case in Oklahoma.

Not all states have legalized medical marijuana.

That’s a half life. It can take anywhere from 30-90 days to test clean for regular smokers depending on their metabolism and how much they smoked. This means in the US today, a person is essentially unemployable if they use cannabis.

Quantity and frequency is a factor.

One of my coworkers pissed dirty for almost 12 weeks. Half life of 4 days is one good hit from a bong, especially for the strong weed that’s out on the market. That THC stays in your fat cells for a long time.

I don't care if you eat it, just don't smoke it. I live in an apartment complex and the stink will come through the walls. They don't allow cigarettes inside and marijuana should be treated the same way.
