The same political action committee that funded the Republican states attorney generals failed lawsuit against the voting results in the other states is also involved in financing and organizing the protests. It's not at all spontaneous. There is a lot of dark money involved, thanks to the 2009 Supreme Court ruling.

They have to shut down sites in the time leading up to the inauguration because violence has been planned and discussed by these sites. LE could've intervened a lot sooner as the planning for the riots were openly discussed for weeks.

I think the pro-Trump people will still have their sites after the inauguration. They still control the RNC leadership in the most recent election of officers after the election. Money talks even if the party has been harmed by the group.

Twitter has a very uneven trading history. It has character limitations which has its pluses and minuses. Some of these groups post links and generate revenue on the click-throughs. It does temporarily cut off revenues for the biased news aggregator sites which post opinion articles and "news" articles.

People will still go to Twitter because of the pandemic and the very strong interest in getting vaccinations.

Free speech has limitations or else you will see our country, economy, stock market, way of life, all come crumbling down.
This is worth repeating. Apple and Google have blocked the Parler app. Are the Nutters going to decimate those stocks, as well? I don't think so.

If that's the case those people should be investigated. There are always nutjobs more than willing to hurt other people. Not only that but Parler's terms of service are simply laid out when you sign up. If they know about users calling for that type of action they've violated the TOS and wont last long on that site.

One of the other sites former Twitter users are flocking to is named Gab. Had never heard of it before today.

Edit: As far as country and way of life crumbling down, what about what was happening across the country the past year at least, with the burning down of portions of cities, people being murdered, injured and beaten by Antifa and BLM members (many paid for by George Soros funded organizations)? Police ordered to stand down, which they seemed to be happy to do. If the protesters hadn't been extreme left-wingers they would have been dealt with as we see happening to people who went into the Capitol building. Of course they are going after the Trump supporters who foolishly, and unknowingly, followed Antifa/BLM members into the building, not so much after Antifa/BLM. Interesting video btw of the police escorting 5 vans of Antifa to the protest, most disguised as Trump supporters, as well as other footage of the days events: https://youtu.be/BUE4TCLlv-c

Does Apple & Google allow Twitter in their apps stores? Most of the extremely vile, aggressive & threatening comments I witnessed on Twitter came from the left. Some of them directed at me simply because they disagreed with my point of view. Twitter did very little to put a stop to it, even after reported. That certainly didn't decimate Apple's or Google's stock price. Many of the people banned from Twitter were banned because they were not extreme left-wingers, not because they are nutters, as you referred to them. The company is run by a nutter which is why they allow the ugliness from the left to continue unabated. It's finally caught up with them and the stock price is starting to reflect that.

They're still circulating Hang Pence all over the internet. They're organizing nut jobs. I prefer to call them cannon fodder. They will get arrested and lose their jobs, while the real criminals are disseminating ideas and working with money. Their employees pose on the social media sites as agent provocateurs.

Three cabinet members are also threatening the 25th amendment if Trump doesn't behave. They were clearly offended that he and his family were cheering on the rioters.

What does he have to do to qualify as not behaving?

I’ve seen people talking about it in a facebook group. I don’t have parler myself, but I did a little digging to see if it were true and this seems to be the source of it, similar message, but not as explicit as was being told. People said the FBI is investigating and the account has been locked now. Whether this is true or not, can’t say with 100% confidence, but also goes to show you this is why social media platforms have terms and conditions when you sign up. There shouldn’t be a platform where anyone can say anything from inciting violence to how to create biological weapons, etc. I bet the market will be nervous on inauguration day.

There are 330 million people in the country, and some percentage are simply crazy, violent people. Even a tiny percentage is numerically a lot, and they can cause all kinds of havoc, which the police have to endanger themselves to deal with on a daily basis. Makes me very grateful for the police (and the military). They literally risk their lives every day to keep the rest of us safe, they deserve our gratitude and support.

True. Screaming FIRE in a crowded theater just because will not bode well for the screamer.

Twitter, as a commercial company with their own platform, and their own TOS, is not akin to the U.S. Constitution 1st Amendment. There are a lot of people complaining about Twitter...on Twitter. And those tweets haven't been erased. Wonder if any of the complainers actually realize that or analyze the difference.
