Other than H2O my go to liquids are red wine or vodka.

We usually always have a sale going on, where ALL fountain drinks are 99 cents (no matter what size you get)...its pretty easy to guess which size most people go for!
A guy who owned a McD's said they have about 8 cents in a $1 soft drink, that includes ice, syrup, cup, straw and labor.

I think this was the big thing that the whole "supersize" me episode missed. That gallon of pure HFCS is doing far more damage to you than a quarter pounder with cheese. If sweetened drinks disappeared from the landscape for 6 months, you would see a DRAMATIC improvement in overall health. At least as significant as that you can attribute to the reduction in smoking over the last 30 years.

It actually doesn't. I've seen the claims that Coke would get rid of rust deposits in a toilet, many times. In my old apartment, the water was...less than stellar...and it would cause those deposits. I decided to test out the theory.

Conclusion: It didn't do jack all to the rust stains. The only thing that worked was good old fashioned elbow grease and a plumber's stone.

As for drinking pop...I don't drink it as much as I used to, but every once in awhile I do. The fizziness seems more profound than it ever did before, which is why I don't drink it as much anymore. It's almost painful.

No one held a gun to these people's heads and forced them to drink a coke.

How do you feel about fluoride?

fluoride effects our "precious bodily fluids" (Gen Jack Ripper)..but from my reading it is fact a poison in which somebody pulled a good con job in order to turn a profit and put it in our water

I don't think it's soda only, it's the whole sugar industry. Everything today is too sweet. When I go to a steakhouse, I often find home made steak sauces to contain too much sugar. Then there are the beverages that people drink from OJ, starbucks, sodas, and even teas.

A couple months ago, just out of curiosity, I called our fountain cup supplier (this company supplies most fast food and convenience stores) and asked if they had any larger cup sizes available...turns out, they do, there are 72oz and 84oz cups!!

We are being fattened up for some reason, and its NOT due to demand, In my time, I have never once heard anyone complain that our 64oz fountain cups are too small and they would like something larger.
Soda size is usually much smaller in Europe generally and no free refills at restaurants

The UK has even gone further and introduced a soft drink sugar tax in April 2018, so the more sugar, the more tax on the drink and the less profit.

Most companies have now changed their recipes and now have mainly zero sugar and no sugar diet versions.

Coca Cola still has the original in the UK however it's more expensive and the amount you get in the bottle is much less, and it now sells more zero sugar and diet than original, and the same is true of pepsi and other big manufacturers.
