The Senators were sworn in as jurors which judge the charges that have been presented, so they cannot simultaneously prosecute or defend the case the House has presented. It was the House's job to investigate and present charges based on actual evidence. They punted. That was their choice.

Schiff intended for his audience to believe that words in the phone call memo instructed Zelensky to make up lots of political dirt on Biden and the U.S. would help him do it. I have trouble believing he or you truly think the phone call memo conveys that message.does that.
