Just a reminder, this is Trump's impeachment trial.

I realize Republicans would like to muddy the waters. If they want to go after others for lying, or snitching, or whatever else they find offensive, they are free to do that.

But this is Trump's impeachment trial for abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.

Forward ever.

He'll be acquitted forever and Re-elected by the people who count.

And it will mean nothing to his legacy but show the hysteria of 219 Democrats.

The Impeachment for Nothing but Political Hate.

Schiff is refusing to give the Trump team access to the transcript of Michael Atkinson.

Why is that ?

I don't think that there even needs to be a debate and vote over the issue of witnesses. Instead, the first vote should be: Are the Articles of Impeachment sent up by the House impeachable offenses? If "no," there's no need to go beyond that, and the next vote should be for acquittal.

The idea that Saturday involved any sort of trouncing is ridiculous.

Cipollone and Sekulow's two hour defense of Trump consisted entirely of:

1) whining about snitches,

2) complaining that more witnesses and documents haven't been presented,

3) peddling Russian propaganda that even FBI Director Chris Wray has dismissed as nonsense, an

4) insisting that impeachment, which is the remedy for misconduct literally in the Constitution, is unconstitutional.

https://lawandcrime.com/impeachment/...for-weak-case/

This was not any sort of "trouncing." This was filling the time with nonsense for the cognitively challenged.

That doesn't give Schiff the right to withhold exculpatory evidence (Atkinson transcript), which is what he's doing to avoid exposing his and his staff's collusion with the whistleblower and his subsequent lies to Congress and the public about it.

You brought Clinton into the discussion with the fib that he was impeached because he lied about a sex act [post 1575]. Don't co0mpain when others set the record straight.

The idea that abuse of power and obstruction of Congress are not impeachable offenses is ridiculous.

Abuse of power and obstruction of justice have already been determined impeachable offenses. Indeed, Trump has been impeached on these very charges

The question now is whether Republicans will remove him from office or conduct a cover up.

So on one hand, he is withholding evidence; and on the other hand, he is complaining that Republicans are blocking evidence. Talk about chutzpah!
