I suspect they believe that acquittal is in the bag so it doesn't make much difference what they say.
Did you think "impeach the MF" girl or "impeach 45" girl did not know impeachment was in the bag and cared nothing about evidence? So what difference did it make on what was said? And these 2 were vocal....about they did not care about evidence.

The 2 fraud fines came after Trump was inaugurated. I was reminded of the white collar fraud when the CEO of Enron was released from the Federal Pen. Trump should be the next in that cell.
In all 3 cases the DOJ refused to allow an investigation, because of a memo. Not a law mind you, a memo.
Trump has then continued with his white collar crimes by his attempt to bribe a foreign nation to investigate an American. This American is running for Trump's current job. Trump is afraid of that American.
So it all comes down to Congress needing to remove a white collar criminal. Guilty of Abuse of Power and Obstruction of Congress

Just a thought: If they call witnesses, this thing can easily extend to April or May, meaning Warren and Sanders will miss out on campaigning during a significant portion of the primary season - handing a big advantage to Biden. On the other hand, Warren and Sanders could vote for Biden to be a witness himself, thereby obliterating their opponent by exposing his corruption.
