There aren't any but there are plenty of examples of the fear of a president stealing one.

I repeat for the umpteenth time, it's the Senate's job to get to the truth by conducting a real trial.

Personally, I think they are bluffing. They don't want witnesses. If they do, they get Hunter Biden.

If asking a foreign country to dig up dirt on a political opponent to help yourself win the presidency & then preventing anyone from finding the truth isn't impeachable then nothing is.

John Bolton's word doesn't show or prove anything, he left his job in the Trump administration because he was frustrated Trump wouldn't use nuclear weapons against No Ko. Dems have always hated him, well until just the other day. lmao

As for me wanting things both ways, you want everything whatever ways best suits impeaching and convicting Trump.
You are kidding right? So they should have done nothing to substantiate the claims made by the whistle-blower? Please point to any illegal investigating done prior to the vote to impeach.

If they wanted a fair trial in the senate, they would have at least gone through the motions of making it a fair hearing in the house.
You people keep saying it was unfair? How? Because the House didn't want superfluous witness and a circus?

Well, at least you are admitting to your authoritarian attempt to subvert the 2016, and 2020 election.
Due process was not the House's job. That's the Senate's job, you know, litigating a trial, and doing a bang up job aren't they? And who subverted 2016 and 2020 elections? trump and his russian comrades.

I don't agree with Bolton's politics, but the GOP has been whining about the absence of firsthand testimony for 2 months now. Bolton can provide firsthand testimony under oath, so lets hear it. John Kelley believes Bolton will tell the unvarished truth. I would like to hear what he saw and heard.
