our founding fathers thought the people should hold those in power accountable. Thus elections. Not a partisan political body which is what they have in England were the Prime Minister serves at the will of the Parliament. While we say in the U.S. that the President serves at the will of the People. Vote him out in 10 months if you wish. But until a President actually commits a High Crime and Misdemeanor they should go no where. And the opposing side doesn't get to make up their own Crimes and Misdemeanor just to push their political agenda.

Let no one say Dershowitz doesn't earn his hourly rate.
Oh no! Horrors! An American president asking Americans to re-elect him!

If you think that's the same thing as asking a foreign leader to dig up dirt on a political opponent, you need a lesson in reading comprehension.

OMG! SO TRUE!!!

They don't have a clue. Bet trobes has no idea what you just said to her... bless her heart.

So, did anyone notice that the Shift Show shifted?

Adam looked like a deer in headlights.

This is what happens when one side argues facts and the other has nothing to offer but BS!

Dershowitz just spanked them with the law. He seemed almost angry, as he should and we should be, about how the house has ignored the rule of law.

Thanks for the eloquent argument why it was so wrong for trump to involve a foreign country to influence our elections!

How can we the people hold those in power accountable if those in power use their power to rig elections?

Good point.

They have nothing to support Trump and have now gone full out attack.

The guilty cannot attack the law and the process and are left with deflection.

Made up?

You do know that that is almost exactly what they were impeaching Nixon for, right?
Abuse of Power and Obstruction of Justice. They also try to impeach Clinton on Abuse of Power.

Quote:

Lies. Obstruction. Abusing power. Defying Congress.

Sound familiar?

Those were the charges that led to President Trump becoming the third U.S. president to be impeached. But they're also similar to the allegations that fueled America's few previous presidential impeachment proceedings.
