I'm sure that they are happy to have you on board. I'd be willing to bet that most people in the government would love it if more Americans felt that those in power should not be held accountable.
Thankfully our founding fathers saw it differently.
our founding fathers thought the people should hold those in power accountable. Thus elections. Not a partisan political body which is what they have in England were the Prime Minister serves at the will of the Parliament. While we say in the U.S. that the President serves at the will of the People. Vote him out in 10 months if you wish. But until a President actually commits a High Crime and Misdemeanor they should go no where. And the opposing side doesn't get to make up their own Crimes and Misdemeanor just to push their political agenda.
Today during Q & A Alan Dershowitz proffered a brilliant rebuttal to House's claims of quid pro quo: "During the Civil War Lincoln instructed soldiers to vote for him in the next election. Lincoln's reason for doing this was to assure he'd be reelected so that he could draw the Civil War to an end. Donald Trump's solicitation from Ukraine for help with his reelection was not done solely for his own political benefit; it was done so Trump could benefit politically AND by extension the American people would benefit as well by allowing Trump to continue his fight for reformation of the political swamp he promised to drain in 2016."
Let no one say Dershowitz doesn't earn his hourly rate.
Oh no! Horrors! An American president asking Americans to re-elect him!
If you think that's the same thing as asking a foreign leader to dig up dirt on a political opponent, you need a lesson in reading comprehension.

Thanks for the eloquent argument why it was so wrong for trump to involve a foreign country to influence our elections!
How can we the people hold those in power accountable if those in power use their power to rig elections?

Made up?
You do know that that is almost exactly what they were impeaching Nixon for, right?
Abuse of Power and Obstruction of Justice. They also try to impeach Clinton on Abuse of Power.
Those were the charges that led to President Trump becoming the third U.S. president to be impeached. But they're also similar to the allegations that fueled America's few previous presidential impeachment proceedings. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/what-ha...clinton-trump/
